The manufacturers tell you not to use the cast iron. The metal has tiny spikes that will harm the ceramic.

We are in Stockbridge, MI and it has been total chaos! To make matters worse, we had to pay extra just because of the holiday. Being FTrs, we stayed inside the whole weekend except to walk the dog. Kids running bikes right into us, 4
4 wheeling by all ages,dogs not tied up and of course the obnoxious drunks. (As opposed to nice drunks). This morning, the campground is a dump with trash everywhere! We will rethink where we will go for the next holiday

BarbaraOK, we are here at Battleground CC now. We are across from a site that has "5" yapping dogs, kids, numerous tents etc. You missed the guy doing his "business" out the back of his motor home last week. A real pig! So much for not having full hookups. The real kick was that our DIL, who doesn't understand the camping life, saw it also. How embarassing. Thank goodness we are leaving tomorrow. Will remember this place, it will definately have a page in our book!

We just sold our house in November after 15 months on the market. The same thing happened to us-twice. I went ballistic at the realtor. I was Not nice! Somehow, she was very careful with us and I think pushed our house harder just to get rid of us. Actually, we practically gave it away to get rid of it. So far, fulltiming is well worth it. Dont ever want to sell a house again. Good luck with your sale, our hearts go out to you and the dogs and cat.

Been in the hotel business. It gets much worse. Almost criminal. If you ever stay in one, throw the bedspread in the corner of the room and insist it not be put on the bed. It is the dirtiest, most disgusting item in the room. We would not stay in a hotel under any condition.

We also got a FREE membership from Lazy Days. What a curse! The yearly maintenance was a pain and the Clermont FL Campground was ALWAYS booked. It was a nightmare to get out of their clutches. They even threatened legal action. We fought to get out of it after 2 years. Dont need the high blood pressure of fighting with them. Will never do a time share again.
